The Northern California Minority Junior Golf Association is a non-profit Public Benefit corporation, raising funds to enhance participation of minority youth in organized golf. The association provides financial assistance to college-bound minority students who have demonstrated the desire and will to develop their golf skills and achieve academic excellence.
Founded July 1990, by Willie L. Simmons, Jr. & Family, the Northern California Minority Junior Golf Scholarship Association, Inc. (NCMJGSA) is a not-for-profit corporation. May 1991, the corporation received tax-exempt status under the United States Department of Treasury Internal Revenue Services Section 501 (C)(3).
